Neapolitan Superior Decumano is the less visited street in the city, even if it is one of the principal road of historical center. Principal character of great historical events and ideal frame for Hellenic-roman theatre, we give it our attention for the numerous historical traces: everybody see them, but few people know what they represent. Hellenic-roman walls and theatre, churches, Incurabili’s pharmacy and museum are very important and interesting. Neapolitan smorfia numbers that we consider for this tour are: 37, ‘o Monaco (the monk) and 40, ‘a paposcia (the inguinal hernia).
