Description
This guided tour lead us through the Rione Sanità, with its Vergini open market. Entering by Foria street we will see colored and cheerful banks. Seeing Totò’s house and meeting cozy people will make characterizing and unique your experience. Rione Sanità is saints’and actors’ quarter and it’s recommended for being the part in the city that historically hosts every social classes departed. Here you will find Fontanelle Cimitery, that is so called because of the presence of spring water. This cimitery is realized inside a tufa cave and here you can really understand the relation between Neapolitans and the afterlife. Smorfia numbers, that are linked to this tour, are: 76 the fountain (a funtanella) and 48 the speaking departed (o’muorto che parla).
